Developing the Qinling Chinese Bee Industry to Boost Rural Revitalization in Xi’an

To effectively boost industries that enrich rural communities under the rural revitalization strategy, comprehensively showcase the achievements of the Qinling Chinese bee industry in Xi’an, facilitate exchanges and win‑win cooperation, and continuously promote the high‑quality development of the Qinling (Xi’an) Chinese bee industry, the Qinling (Xi’an) Chinese Bee Industry High‑Quality Development Conference was successfully held in Yanliang, Xi’an, from August 8 to 10.

At the promotional session, officials from the Yanliang District Government and the Xi’an Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs delivered speeches. A representative from Yanliang District noted that the Qinling Chinese bee industry has been designated as one of the leading industries for rural revitalization and one of the key agricultural industry chains in Xi’an. Leveraging its industrial strengths, Yanliang District will fully support Zhongtian Bee Industry in expanding the Chinese bee industry, contributing to Xi’an’s rural revitalization efforts.

During the report session, Xing Yan’an, President of the Shaanxi Bee Industry Association, delivered a report on the high‑quality development of the Qinling (Xi’an) Chinese bee industry, based on six fundamental advantages: nectar source advantages, technological advantages, R&D and production advantages, policy support advantages, farmer income‑generation advantages, and ecological benefits.

Subsequently, Sun Guofeng, Executive Vice President of the China Bee Products Association, gave a keynote speech titled “Taking the Bee Industry as a Lever to Create a New Chapter in Rural Revitalization.” Researcher Li Jiuzhou, Vice President of the Shaanxi Bee Industry Association and Chief Expert of the Shaanxi Bee Industry Technology System, delivered an initiative entitled “Joining Forces to Strengthen Industry‑Academia‑Research Cooperation and Boost the High‑Quality Development of the Qinling (Xi’an) Chinese Bee Industry with New Quality Productive Forces.”

At the signing ceremony, Northwest University, Northwest A&F University, and Xi’an University signed employment cooperation agreements with enterprises including Xi’an Zhongtian Bee Industry Group.
